BY APRIL'S KISS
JELLYFISH
I have this dream,
a strange dream:
I’m drifting;
floating up and sinking down
in a blue lagoon.
The sun glistens
through the sea’s undulating ceiling.
A coral jungle beneath my feet.
Somewhere above, a tropical breeze.
I’m so content
to be in this underwater paradise,
my limbs dangling.
So calm.
So peaceful.
Just swaying with the waves,
with my jellyfish clan.
Nowhere to go.
Nothing to do,
except to be in this moment.
And the one after.
So aware of the present,
and without a care
Transparent.
Nothing matters but to be
doing what I was called to do.
Just being.
Aware.
Mindful,
and full of life
Drifting, but always sensing.
And never in flight.
